Doors 90 120 need four hinges.
3 hinges are optimal for door weights of 6 12 kg.
The door height also affects the number of hinges required.
Doors 60 90 need three hinges.

Every door should be provided with at least one hinge for every 30 inches in height or portion thereof.
For example a 90 door needs three hinges and a 91 door needs four.
For high and narrow doors for example it may be wise to use three hinges for extra stability even though with a weight of 6 kg this is not strictly.
It is important to consider the weight of the door including additional weights such as handles.
